Lucas Trim ’14 and Joseph Trim ’15, representing Villanova and Fordham, respectively, played against each other in the Coca-Cola Lehigh Valley Invitational collegiate golf tournament April 2-3. After the fi rst round the brothers were tied for 3rd place, and Lucas Trim shot 72-71 to tie for medalist honors, while Joseph Trim shot 72-78 to fi nish 16th. Maxim Yodzis ’14 is head strategist for a fi ve-student advertising team that was chosen to create a campaign to raise awareness for Clearwater-based Eckerd Kids, one of the nation’s largest nonprofi t child and family service organizations. Yodzis is pictured with his team (Yodzis is standing, second from left), which created the campaign in 48 hours as part of the annual Mobilize advertising competition hosted by 22squared. 24 JESUIT PERSPECTIVES • WINTER 2016-17 Byrne Litschgi ’16 recently achieved three All-American performances at the 2017 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. Litschgi, a freshman at the University of Chicago, broke three school records this season and was named the school’s Athlete of the Week in November. J.J. Niekro ’16 Is a pitcher for the Florida Southern College baseball team. In the spring training opener for Major League Baseball’s Detroit Tigers vs. Florida Southern, Niekro hurled 3 innings, allowing 4 hits and 1 run. Alumni in Action
