Hers is a shining 3,900 square foot new office at the entrance of elegant Grasslands. The expansion is made necessary by her ever-increasing cadre of highly experienced agents. But to Jeri Thom of Premier Realty Network, success is not about a beautiful office or impressive numbers of listings or even a plethora of talented agents. It’s about establishing generational relationships with clients – relationships based on trust, understanding, and above all – honesty. Jeri’s entrance into real estate provides her with a unique perspective and is a constant reminder of how most homeowners feel as they enter a field which is outside their everyday experience and may seem like a foreign world. An accountant and controller for small to large companies for the first half of her career, Jeri and her husband fell victim to an inattentive agent when purchasing their first home in a difficult real estate transaction back in 1987 in California. Determined to educate herself for her own welfare before entering into another real estate transaction at some future date, she obtained a real estate license. Several years later, having moved to Florida, and with a son about to depart for college and a husband whose work necessitated frequent travel, Jeri decided to put that license to use. After working as an agent in a couple of larger nationwide realty companies and another smaller locally owned firm, she opened her own brokerage in 2004.
