LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT At the Y, we believe that all children deserve a safe place to be physically active, explore the arts, learn new things, make friends, and have fun. The Y is the starting point for many kids to develop healthy habits they will carry with them throughout their lives. Kids in our programs can learn to swim, play sports, build ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������ We are charging into summer with our summer camps, all new swim program, summer swim league, new arts programs, YFL football/chearleading and other team sports, and new health and wellness programs. We also invite you to join us for Healthy Kids Day, the Y’s national initiative to teach kids how to continue to be active in mind, health and body during the summer months. Healthy Kids Day will be held at Bradenton Riverwalk from 10am-2pm on April 22 and will feature vendors, an obstacle course, exhibitors such as Sarasota Jungle Gardens and O’Briens Family Farms, a free ������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������������ We are committed to working with families to create a support system for healthy development.
