BIKING For the cycling enthusiasts there are some great trails to enjoy. Don’t forget your helmet. ����CAPE HAZE PIONEER TRAIL PARK 1688 Gasparilla Road, Rotonda 941-681-3742 Over seven miles of paved multi-use trail in Charlotte County. The best place to start is at the trailhead, State Road 776 and Country Road 771. Other amenities include a dog park and picnic tables. Parking is available. ����THE LEGACY TRAIL 941-861-5000 www.scgov.net/Parks/Pages/LegacyTrail.aspx This trail runs more than 10 miles from Venice to just south of the City of Sarasota. There are seven access points with the closest ones to Englewood being in Venice at the Venice Train Depot and Patriots Park. There is free parking at the various access points. 26 2017 25
