The Nav-A-Gator is easy to spot on your portside. As you enter the marina stay to the left side of the canal. If you can reach out and touch the mangroves on your left you are in the right spot. After that, follow the dock around to the right, then left for a slip on the left towards the rear. Keep an eye out for the big gator usually sunning on the dock and the air boat coming in and out that takes folks on a river tour. When you pull into the marina there is normally a lot going on. Live bands, tents, food cooking on grills and lots of happy people are a common sight. Make sure you try to get a tour of the gift shop and museum as well. The history is pretty interesting and goes back to the Pirate Day’s. The museum even has a full-sized mammoth. At the restaurant a recommendation is the gator bites with swamp cabbage. We also recommend the “Nav-A-Gator Afternoon” to drink. I can say that it has Grey Goose in it, but the rest of it is top secret.
